                         INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 
 
INTRODUCTION:
 
   This program will allow a COMPAQ 386 system to run the NURSING STAFFING 
   PROGRAM by medical Information Processing Systems, Inc.  (This is used 
   by WAUSAU Hospital.)
 
 
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
 
   Any COMPAQ 386 system.
   COMPAQ DOS version 3.00 or later.
 
 
WHO SHOULD USE:
 
   Use this program if you cannot display a graph with the NURSING 
   STAFFING PROGRAM and the system hangs.
 
 
HOW TO USE:
 
   1.   Copy NEWMENU.COM from the distribution diskette to the directory 
        that contains the MENU.EXE program.
 
   2.   To run MENU.EXE, make the current directory the one which contain 
        MENU.EXE and the patch file.  Type MENU.EXE and  press <ENTER>.  
        Any command line parameters that were used with MENU.EXE can be 
        added before pressing <ENTER>.
 
   3.   You will see the following message when the program is run:
 
             NEWMENU.COM          Version 1.00
             (C) Copyright COMPAQ Computer Corp. 1990
 
   4.   If you usually start MENU.EXE in your AUTOEXEC.BAT, edit your 
        AUTOEXEC.BAT to run NEWMENU.COM instead.
 
EFFECTS ON YOUR SYSTEM:
 
   1.   NEWMENU.COM version 1.00 will require around 900 bytes of memory.
