LTE-HG.COM INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

 INTRODUCTION:

   This program will alter the memory image of two Harvard Graphics files, 
   "HG.OVL" and "HG212_2.OVL", in a manner which will permit Harvard 
   Graphics V.2.12 to operate properly on a Compaq LTE 386s/20 equipped 
   with a Crystal 2 VGA ASIC. This will not be necessary if the LTE 
   386s/20 is equipped with a Crystal 3 VGA ASIC.

 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

   Compaq LTE 386s/20 computer and Harvard Graphics V.2.12.

 WHO SHOULD USE:

   If the LTE 386s/20 computer appears to lock up when running Harvard 
   Graphics V.2.12 and it occurs when the user is attempting to perform an 
   operation (ex.: show slide) with a screen scroll.

  HOW TO USE:

   1.Copy the patch program "LTE-HG.COM" to the same directory where the 
   Harvard Graphics files are located.

   2.The syntax of the program is: LTE-HG.COM or LTE-HG.
        Note: There are no command line parameters.

   3.When the package is successfully running, you will not get any 
   messages preceding the Harvard Graphics program operation.

   4.If the package is not successful in running the Harvard Graphics 
   program, an error message will be generated.


 EFFECTS ON YOUR SYSTEM: 

   This patch will not modify the Harvard Graphics files on the disk - 
   only the memory image read into memory is changed. The file image read 
   into memory is changed only while this patch is running Harvard 
   Graphics.
